LAUTIE Mechanic-Thorns Fidget Ring, Spy Wars Series
Price range: $87.9 through $176.9
Fidget spinner ring: This is a creative magnetic fidget toy that can be flicked. It has a ring-like shape and it is small and portable, allowing you to relieve stress by putting it on your fingertips whenever and wherever possible.
Adjustable magnetic settings: By changing the number and direction of internal magnets, the feedback of hand feeling created by flicking this toy can be greatly varied.
0 magnet operates as the ring mode, and this toy can be smoothly rotated with a gentle flick;
1-2 magnets operate as the ratcheting mode, providing continuous and dense magnetic feedback which is similar to a ratcheting device;
3-5 magnets operate as the Buddha bead mode, providing a moderate feedback intensity that simulates the experience of flicking Buddha beads and making us experience the inner peace;
6-8 magnets operate as the strong magnetic mode, providing a passionate collision of magnets in the cavity along with a crisp sound.
9-12 magnets unleash an ultra-strong magnetic force, delivering an intensely powerful feel and robust feedback.

I think this is a very underrated gem, unfairly overshadowed by its brother the Mechanic-C. I have the CuNi variant and the beehive pattern looks great and adds a soft grindy feeling when spinning it on your finger and trying to stop it with another finger or your fingernails (the material does not get scratched at all by a fingernail). I have a SS Mechanic-C and in comparison this one is a bit thinner, and the magnetic clicks are not as loud, but not silent either, I guess the softer material makes a difference, but the functionality is practically the same. The pattern is definitely a plus in my eyes and gives it a more unique look.
For a new buyer unfamiliar with the other Mechanic rings, the bearing has a good, long spin, but you can’t really feel it unless you add magnets to it. It comes with slots for 12 magnets so you can customize the feedback. I think 1-2 magnets is pretty good if you just like to spin it and feel some feedback, but you can go higher if you are more into the clicks. I’m new to the fidget stuff and was initially skeptical of such a simple ring spinner, but it is surprisingly satisfying to use. Keep in mind that unless you have very dainty fingers (maybe around size 7) you won’t be able to wear it as a ring, usually it will rest around your middle knuckle, so it’s more of a 1-handed fidget. For a truly “hands-free” fidget that you can wear while working at a computer you can look at the Mechanic-I instead.
Producto exquisito. Trabajo artesanal muy depurado. Rodamiento perfecto, muy suave. Lo recomiendo. Gran producto.
Very high quality product. Quick delivery. Correspond exactly to the description and the needs
I didn’t purchase the ring. I purchased the box.
Honestly pretty perfect. Cant really complain. It’s quite expensive but if you can justify it, you won’t regret it. I literally cannot put this thing down.
Thorns ring is my best fidget!
Really enjoyed this ring. Great quality and craftsmanship. I like there’s an ability to customize the feel by adding/removing magnets. It’s actually hard for me to decide if I want free spin or haptics. Why can’t we have both? Lol…. Perhaps I just need to order another one with different setup.
